A Quick Guide of the MGM Grand in Vegas

The MGM Grand is a hotel casino situated on the las Vegas strip in Nevada and is the third largest hotel in the world. This large size however is not reflected in the friendly down to earth attitude of the staff who are always more than willing to help. The hotel rooms themselves are clean and spacious with extremely comfortable beds!

One of the signature attractions at the hotel is the Lion Habitat in which up to six lions can wander through see through tunnels around the casino in order for people to see them close up! The lions live locally on a ranch in a custom built enclosure.

There are many different things to do around the hotel from visiting the various shops and restaurants to even getting married in the wedding chapel! On the complex there are five stunning pools and 3 whirlpools to choose from and as if that isn’t enough there is the meandering “lazy river” to float along. All these beautiful pools are surrounded by lush foliage and beautiful rivers.

There are various restaurants in the resort from the everyday McDonalds and Starbucks to the five star exquisite restaurants, so there really is something for everybody. The resort is home to Cirque du Soleil’s breathtaking show Kà, which is a must see! It truly lives up to the standards of the other Cirque Du Soleil shows with the spectacular technical feats, but this show varies from previous shows as it has a more straightforward story, but this makes it even more entertaining!

Another experience that is a must see is the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In this experience you get to be the detective yourself and examine the evidence with interactive displays and state of the art forensic science equipment. You even receive a certificate once you have completed it! There are various other shows on at the resort such as in the Hollywood theatre which is currently showing the Charles Dickens classic David Copperfield and from February will be showing the Drew Carey Improv-a-ganza. But it doesn’t stop there, there is also a lively nightlife with plenty of nightclubs and pool parties to choose from, so there is no need to stop having fun when the sun sets!

The latest addition to the hotel amenities is the excellent Las Vegas monorail which can cover a four mile journey in under fourteen minutes simply passing by all the traffic. So whether it’s a business or pleasure stay at the hotel the monorail is definitely the future for travel in this part of Vegas!

This is all good but the most obvious thing has yet to be mentioned, the wonderful casino. At the casino you can enjoy: Poker, Blackjack, Slot games and plenty more to choose from all in the wonderful fun atmosphere that will be an experience you will never forget!

So other than to visit the Grand Canyon during your stay in Vegas you really won’t want to leave the MGM Grand at all!
